Minister Chaunceia Renee Mayfield was called to preach and teach the Gospel in 1990, received her license in 2001, and was ordained in 2009. Minister Mayfield is grateful for the sacrifice Jesus Christ made on Calvary to redeem her soul and is humbled that He has chosen her to be His servant. She is passionate about teaching the Gospel with conviction and simplicity while serving her community. Minister Mayfield served at Abundant Life Fellowship under the pastoral leadership of Bishop Matthew Ferguson for ten years in the capacity of Christian Education and Women's Ministry. She also served at Shalom Church (City of Peace) under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Dr. Freddy J. Clark for nineteen years as an Associate Minister in the capacity of Christian Education and Women's Ministry. 

Strengthen Thy Sister Ministry was birthed in 2009 and established in August, 2010. The first women's fellowship was held on September 9, 2010 at the Maryland Heights Civic Center. Minister Mayfield continues to serve the mission and vison of Strengthen Thy Sister.

Professionally, Chaunceia worked eight years in Restaurant Management and for the past 27 years in Human/Social Services. Her career in the Human/Social Services profession has afforded her the opportunity to serve her community in various capacities such as working with the homeless, teenage mothers and children and the mentally challenged and physically disabled. 

Chaunceia education is also rooted in Human Services were she earned a bachelor's degree in Human Services (with a minor in religion) from Missouri Baptist University. She continued her studies and earned a master's degree in Human Service Agency Management from Lindenwood University and a second master's degree in Christian Ministry from Missouri Baptist University. 

Chaunceia is the proud mother of a beautiful daughter and wonderful son-in-law; as well as Nana of two fun-loving grandsons.
